Wellllllll, guess we'll see.. Obama had 70,000 people show up for his Portland, OR event. I think the Oregonian said it was the largest turnout yet. Of course it probably didn't hurt that he had the local band the Decemberists there as well to warm up the crowd. Some people waited 3 hours in line to hear him speak.

I have a very unofficial tally going, and if you want, please vote here and let your opinion be heard.. :)

I added a new menu item under Friends called Show All Members. This will display all of our members in our community. I thought it would be easier to find friends and family and make new friends if there was a place that we were all listed. Of course you can opt out and not display your profile if you would like. Go here and check the Hide your profile button and you will no longer show up in the list.

Kris (Jen's brother) and Ashley had a baby boy this week.. I haven't seen any pictures yet, maybe Ashley or  Jen can upload some for us. Their baby Jonnathan Noah was born this last tuesday.. ( i think :) ) Kris is still in Iraq and I'm not sure when he is scheduled to come back.. Hopefully soon.. :)  I guess that makes me an uncle.. Yes, you can call me Uncle Eric now..

Well we finally got sun this weekend.. That was a quick 5 months of winter.. :) Well the sun did come out a few times here and there but we finally got enough sun to get a little tan.. Yea! Hopefully there will more to come..

Well we finally made it back from Jamaica.. It was a great two weeks.. Although getting back was fine, getting there took a bit longer than anticipated.. Our flight from Miami to Montego Bay was delayed 6 hours because they needed to change the brakes.. Of course they didn't tell us we needed to change the brakes until after everyone was on board the airplane and one of the crew noticed leaking brake fluid. I would have to say though I definitely prefer them changing the brakes than not changing the brakes. It makes stopping in Montego Bay a little less worrisome..

Jen's brother Kris is in Iraq and took a few pictures. They're in the albums' section here. Its hard to fathom everything that is going on there but the looks on the Iraqi kids faces is great.. Kids just being kids..
